'THE GIVING OF THANKS HAS ABSORBED ME SO,
THAT TO COMPLAIN OF SORROWS I HAVE NO TIME."
-HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI
MEMOIRS OF HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI (1902-1992) A GREAT SPIRITUAL LUMINARY WHO GAVE PEACE AND BEATITUDE TO COUNTLESS FOLK.
======================================================

There was a time in 1943 when HH Shri Bhola Nathji had an abortive operation on his right arm which had been injured while playing tennis.
The FRCS surgeon who operated on his arm in Lucknow made a terrible mistake during the operation, leading the wound to become septic, so much so, that the poison began to spread in the entire body, and the surgeons feared that HH Shri Bhola Nathji would not survive. The pain in the arm itself was terrible, more than any human being could endure. Septic fevers hit his delicate body with great severity.
Those were the days when thousands of soldiers were being maimed and severely injured during the Second World War.
People who knew of HH Shri Bhola Nathji's propensity for taking the ills and sorrows of the world upon his own gentle body, sincerely believed he had taken the pain of the wounded humanity on his own arm.
At such a critical time HH Shri Bhola Nathji left the city of Lucknow where all the medical aid was available and came to the small town of Mussoorie in the Himalayan Mountains, where there was not a single doctor to attend upon him.
Those who saw the divine radiance and peace on his face at that time could never forget it for the rest of their lives. God was manifesting Himself through him. All who came before him instantly felt this radiance and peace, and had this instant feeling that they were in the presence of God.
For two years HH Shri Bhola Nathji existed in this critical state, giving peace and beatitude to whoever came before him.
His photo of 1943 with this Post shows the absolute beauty and peace and divine radiance that emanated from him during these two years.
During this time, He had this verse written outside his door:
"THE GIVING OF THANKS HAS ABSORBED ME SO,
THAT TO COMPLAIN OF SORROWS I HAVE NO TIME!"
By the time it was 1945 and the Second World War was over,
HH Shri Bhola Nathji's arm had miraculously healed by itself.
