A person who had all the good things in life, health, wealth, strength, power, soon began to think that everything was possible for him with the many things he possessed. And very soon he began to say he did not need God and that GOD IS NOWHERE.

A person who had all the good things in life, health, wealth, strength, power, soon began to think that everything was possible for him with the many things he possessed. And very soon he began to say he did not need God and that GOD IS NOWHERE.
There came a time when he was aboard an ocean liner and the ship was
hit by a terrible storm, so that the waves of the ocean tossed it about
like a little match-box.
In a state of panic the rich and powerful man ran for help to the captain, to the other passengers in the ship, and then even tried to grip the ship along its sides -- but nothing would stop the ship from being tossed around in the waters of the terrible storm.
In desperation he called out to the ocean and said: "STOP THE STORM!"
But the ocean was dead matter and could not hear him.
Finally he looked upwards at the sky and the clouds there, and cried out loud:
"O GOD! PLEASE STOP THE STORM! PLEASE LET MY SHIP CROSS THE OCEAN! AFTER THAT YOU MAY CHOOSE TO EXIST OR NOT TO EXIST!"
AND HE LOOKED AT THE CLOUDS WHICH HAD FORMED INTO WORDS THAT SAID " GOD IS NOWHERE".
AND THEN HE SAW THE 'W' SHIFT TOWARDS THE 'NO' AND BECOME 'NOW' - SO THAT HE SAW WRITTEN CLEARLY IN THE SKIES: "GOD IS NOW HERE!"
The storm subsided. The ship ceased being tossed about by the waters, and he found himself on his knees thanking God.
Man has a tendency to forget God when everything is going fine for him, but when a sudden calamity hits him in life he finds his Faith in God.
