When you give your heart to the things of the world, and run after them, one day your heart breaks, and the first words that come from you are: "O, MY GOD!"
He was the one your heart had been seeking.
Each of your five senses has a different part to play. The eyes are meant to see, but they cannot hear; the ears are meant to hear but they cannot see, .. in a like manner your brain and intellect are meant for the world, while your heart is meant for God.
Try to see God with your heart and not your mind.
Blessed are the Pure in Heart for they shall see God.
Too much of your intellect can lead you astray on the path of Faith.
Ravana was an intellectual of the highest order but his heart was not pure and he could not recognise the Divinity of Lord Rama.
