THE LAST DOOR IN THE WORLD

Omar Khayyam the famous Persian Poet wrote:
"There was a door to which I found no key,
There was a veil past which I could not see,
A little talk awhile of thee and me,
And then there was no more of thee and me!"
This was the dismal picture of the life of man on earth.
But HH Shri Bhola Nathji used to say:
"It is sad that Khayyam is dead and gone, otherwise I would have told him that he was wrong! There is a Door greater than all other doors."
Shri Bhola Nathji narrated this parable of his own making:
One day God ordered His angels to get all the comforts and luxuries and joys and happiness of the world, and place them in Heaven, and then announce to the world:
"Come one! Come All! Here is everything you ever wanted in life being given free to you for all time! This is the order of God!"
Very soon the whole world gathered at the Door of God surging in waves to get inside. And they went in and took whatever they wanted, -- wealth, happiness, health, strength, power, everything that they had ever wanted in life.
And, in the end, there came a beggar in rags, weak and emaciated from hunger, his body besieged by illnesses, and his legs tottering from weakness.
He was so weak that he could hardly reach the door of God, and fell against it with a loud sound. The sound reached the ears of God who sent his angels to go and see who was there.
The angels saw the beggar and said to him:" Get thee gone! Everything is taken by the people of the world! There is nothing for you here! Go away!"
The beggar said with his remaining strength:
"All right! I will go away. When all the doors of the world were closed on me, there was but this one door of God left for me, and I came here. If even this door is closed, then tell me where I must go!
"Let God come out and tell me Himself that He has nothing left for me!!"
The Angels looked carefully. Indeed there was nothing left.
"Nothing?" said God angrily to His angels, "Nothing? NOT EVEN ME!!"
And saying this he gave Himself to the beggar who was filled with the power and glory of God, the Creator of all things in the world!
AND GOD SAID:
"REMEMBER THERE IS ONLY THIS ONE DOOR LEFT TO MAN WHEN ALL OTHER DOORS ARE CLOSED-- AND THEREFORE IT IS A DOOR THAT NEVER CLOSES ON HIM!"
There was a veil past which I could not see,
A little talk awhile of thee and me,
And then there was no more of thee and me!"
