He was a very poor street vendor of sweets when he first came to HH
Shri Bhola Nathji, and acquired intense devotion at first sight.
From a street vendor singing songs to sell his wares, he became a famous Music Teacher with a Music School of his own.
He fell down two stories from his house and escaped unscathed. He had a serious lung disease but still sang with great energy and power. He attributed these to miracles of HH Shri Bhola Nathji.
His devotion to HH Shri Bhola Nathji continued to increase day by day until the very last moments of his life. And when he left the world it was with the name of his Divine Master on his lips.
In this song he describes the intense joy a devotee feels from the closeness of his Master, the divine bliss which comes from the Divine Love and Divine Light of his Master and the unmatched Divine Beauty of His Divine Face, which has won the hearts of all.
It is noteworthy that this song was sung on Jan 21, 1981, at New Delhi, before HH Shri Bhola Nathji and a small congregation of devotees, and that when Kasturilal came to the last verse of his song, which expressed his desire to sing the praises of his Master till the very end, there rang out the loud voice of HH Shri Bhola Nathji:
"TATHAASTU" -- meaning -- "SO BE IT!"
The song was in fact a Farewell Song by Kasturilal as he was to leave the physical world peacefully soon thereafter.
