HH. Shri Bhola Nathji or HH Shri Nathji as he was often called, seldom
performed a miracle for his own sake, although his miracles for others
are legend.
If ever he performed a miracle for his own self it was at the express prayers or yearning of those who loved him.
The year was 1946. HH Shri Nathji and his family were at Agra. It was the day of "Karvachauth" a special day in India on which all Hindu women offered a special prayer for the safety and welfare and long life of their husbands and observed a fast almost the whole day long.
Mahamateshwari Savitri Devi, my mother, was observing a fast on that day for my father, HH Shri Bhola Nathji.
HH Shri Nathji, as was his habit, went for an evening walk all alone, until he came to a lane which had a wall at the end. It would be called a dead end street.
Shri Nathji turned around to go back the way he had come, but suddenly saw a sight that would have unnerved the bravest of men.
There was a bull, with horns lowered, charging directly at him!
It was yet another attack upon his gentle body of the aasuri bal, the powers of Satan.
Shri Nathji stopped where he was, and looked calmly at the bull as the bull came closer and closer to him.
And then, something happened. The bull suddenly stopped in it tracks and slid docilely to the ground at the feet of HH Shri Nathji.
Shri Nathji attributed this miracle to the fast that Mahamateshwari had undertaken for his long life, safety and welfare.
