FRIENDS, TRAITORS, BACK-STABBERS

 FRIENDS, TRAITORS, BACK-STABBERS

===================================
People who you trust as your dearest friends, like family members, change with time. As more and more prosperity, good health and status get added to their personalities, you see them change their ways.
If betrayals are a way of life with ordinary folk, the Holiest of the Holy too have not been spared by them.
There is the famous story of Judas Iscariot the man who betrayed Christ as the most famous example in history.
That anyone could even think of betraying such innocent and holy personalities is unthinkable.
And the sad part is that when these people carry out their betrayals, they try to justify them with arguments that suit them and are not touched by the pangs of conscience or repentance.
And that is when God's Law of Nemesis steps in to make them pay for their sins. Everything they have gained in life through His Grace-- and which they have attributed to their own brilliance, is snatched away one by one or altogether and they find themselves in the streets where they belong.
And this happens fast.
They see their wall of ego crumbling, their brains wilting away, their intellect failing, and their bodies becoming a prey to dreadful diseases, and they live and die in misery wondering why God is not helping them anymore.
GOD CEASING TO CARE FOR THEM IS HIS GREATEST PUNISHMENT FOR THEM.
Every moment that a man is alive is due to the Grace of God, or else he would simply have a heart attack and die while standing or walking or running in the streets,
The Holiest of the Holy represent God in human form upon earth, as His representatives, His ambassadors. To betray them or to hurt them is like betraying and hurting God.
When Julius Cesar was stabbed by friends he trusted, he found to his surprise, that his closest friend Brutus was amongst them!
Though the stab wounds hurt him, the one that hurt him most was the stab by his most trusted friend, Brutus.
And he cried out, before dying, "You, too. Brutus? Then fall Cesar!"
The strangest aspect of this betrayal and its ill rewards for the betrayer, is:
"WAAYE NAAKAAMI! MATAAYE CAARAVAAN JAATAA RAHAA
CAARAVAAN KE DIL SE AIHSAASE ZIYAAN JAATAA RAHAA
"ALAS! THE CARAVAN OF LIFE WAS LOST ALONG THE WAY,
BUT THE GREATEST LOSS WAS THAT THE MAN WAS NOT EVEN SORRY AT THIS LOSS!"
THIS HAPPENS WHEN HIS CONSCIENCE BECOMES DEAD.
IT AWAKENS, ONLY WHEN THE MISERIES OF THE WORLD STRIKE OUT AT HIM, IN THIS WORLD, AND THE WORLD TO COME, WHEN EACH AND EVERY MOMENT OF HIS BETRAYAL BECOMES THE GREATEST TORMENT OF HIS LIFE.
