O THOU HIDDEN REALITY APPEAR BEFORE ME IN HUMAN FORM:

From the memoirs of HH Shri Bhola Nathji a Great Spiritual Luminary who gave peace and beatitude to countless folk during his lifetime, relieving them of their ills and sorrows, and whose words and blessings still come to us from His Celestial Plane, desiring nothing from anyone except to listen to their prayers and to help them upon earth.
When HH Shri Bhola Nathji, or HH Shri Nathji as he was popularly known, was in his human form he met an atheist Mr. R.R. Khanna, who was a scientist as well as the Registrar of the Lucknow University, one of the most prestigious universities in India during the 1930's.
The meeting between RR Khanna and Shri Nathji was very dramatic. Khanna who had come to mock the question of God, turned into a firm believer after listening to just a few words that Shri Nathji said to him! It was a miracle. Something deep within Khanna's soul was touched by HH Shri Nathji, it was not simply Shri Nathji's words, it was a powerful spiritual radiance within Shri Nathji's soul.
Thereafter Khanna would often quote this verse of Sir Iqbal the famous poet of the time, in which Iqbal expressed the yearning of the human soul to see God in human form.
"Kabhi ai Haqueeqate Muntazar, nazar aa libaase majaaz men
Ke Hazaaron sajde tarrap rahe hain meri jabeene niyaaz men"
"O Thou Much Awaited Reality, appear before me in human form,
For thousands of prostrations await their fulfilment upon my forehead."
RR Khanna firmly began to believe that HH Shri Nathji was that hidden much awaited Reality for which he had been waiting all his life, and he had found him at last in the human form of HH Shri Nathji.
I have tried to sing it as best as I could many years after the verses and ghazal were written by Sir Iqbal and quoted by RR Khanna.
When Khanna died it was with the name of HH Shri Nathji on his lips and in his heart. For him there was no other God other than HH Shri Nathji.
