Here is yet another Ghazal, a poem of Urdu Lyrics, written by
HH Shri Bhola Nathji (1902-1992) on the 31st of December 1981. It was put to music by his son, Priya Nath Mehta, in 1982 at the time.

Kab talak bhoole rahoge khud k ai Nath tum
Jab ke gham ki daihar men aatishfishaani ho rahi

HH Shri Bhola Nathji was a Great Spiritual Luminary of His time who gave peace and beatitude to countless folk, relieving them of their ills and sorrows. People saw the Glory of God in Him.
Not only was he a being with unmatched Divine Love and Divine Compassion but also a Being with a unique Divine Beauty never before seen in the world.

in this Ghazal is is the Voice of God being angry with Himself for allowing the fire of sorrow and suffering to burn in the world, while he sits aloof watching it as part of His plan.
But there is instant consolation that all this is an illusion, and an untruth which shall pass away.
It was the veil of ignorance which produced these images of burning sorrow.
This was because man forgot that the purpose of his existence in the world was to attain God.

WHEN THE WORLD IS BURNING IN AN INFERNO OF SORROW
Muddaa hai zindagi ka Haq shanaasi har tarah
Phir taghaaful men ye kyon aansoo ravaani ho rahi
THE GOAL OF HUMAN LIFE WAS TO REALISE GOD
WHY THESE TEARS OF IGNORANCE NOW
Aaj kaih do phir bahaaron ko ke hon ab gulfishaan
Haan ghizaan ki khatam ab saari kahani ho rahi
GO AND TELL THE SPRING TO BRING FORTH ITS FLOWERS NOW
YES, THE TALES OF WITHERING FLOWERS ARE ALL GONE
Baade irfaan ne dil ko dee hai vo masti hamen
Jiss se ab aishe mussalsal zindagaani ho rahi
THE WINE OF TRUTH HAS GIVEN OUR HEARTS AN INTOXICATION DIVINE
WHICH HAS MADE THIS LIFE FILLED WITH A BLISS THAT IS ETERNAL
