Emma was a lady who lived in the USA and had been deeply inspired by the writings of HH Shri Bhola Nathji.

She later changed her name from EMMA to EMA, when HH Shri Bhola Nathji mistakenly wrote it as EMA in a letter to her.

One of Ema's letters to Shri Bhola Nathji was as

follows:

"Washington D.C.

Sept. 3, 1934.

I am honoured that you have written a personal letter to me and also sent me excerpts from your teachings and philosophy.

I do not know how to thank you for all your kind words and your prayers and wishes. I can only show my appreciation by doing what I can to make Divine Love known. Zarathrustra (Zoroaster) is one whom I greatly loved. I also have great love for Jesus, Buddha, and Lord Krishna and Confucius. I have read all their lives.

None but the God of my heart knows how I love Great Souls,

and so I love you greatly, for, YOU ARE ONE OF THEM AND ONE WITH THEM.

One pays homage to God by living the Godly life. But how does one pay homage to a Master of Divine Love?

You represent to me ALL THAT IS DIVINE IN MAN. Words are so futile when one wishes to express what lies deep in one's

heart.

And for the Divine Love you have given me, I live a better and purer life.

Ema Ploner"

Emma E. Ploner had read HH Shri Bhola Nathji's book "Rays of Light" while in the USA and had been deeply inspired by his words, personality and teachings.

She had a fervent desire to come to India and meet HH Shri Nathji, but because of the impending war she could not travel across the ocean.

One day in the USA she had a vision of HH Shri Bhola Nathji sitting on a garden chair in her garden.

It was a Divine Vision. He appeared and the next instant he was gone.

Later he wrote to her:

"I appeared before you to let you know that I was always with you, and I disappeared because I had entered your heart"

Shri Nathji addressed her as EMA by mistake. But Emma changed her name from EMMA to EMA . When her friends and relatives asked why she had changed her name, she said to them:

"All these years I had been spelling my name wrongly as Emma. But my Master has corrected me! Now Ema it shall remain!"
