WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THE GOD WITHIN YOURSELF?

WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THE GOD WITHIN YOURSELF?
===============================================
From the thoughts of HH Shri Bhola Nathji, a Great Spiritual Luminary in whom people saw the Glory of God and who gave peace and beatitude to countless folk, relieving them of their ills and sorrows.
===============================================
It is said that God is within every person. Then why is it that every person cannot see the God within Himself or even feel His presence there?
The answer is simple:
Your Heart or your Soul is like the Cinema Screen of a Cinema Hall. On the Screen is displayed God in all His Glory,
Now suppose all the windows of the Cinema Hall are open, and the sunlight is coming into the hall from the outside. What will you see on the screen? Nothing. The picture will disappear due to the external light.
What is the Cinema Hall? Your human body, the human heart.
What are its windows? The five senses of the human body that sense the world around itself.
Why are these windows always open? Because of the desires in your mind that attract you to the things of the world, which you see, feel and touch and enjoy to your heart's content. And which also bring much sorrow in their wake.
So with so many windows of desires opening into the outer world, the images of the outside world bring in the images from outside which opens up the heart and soul to the outside world so much, that the image of God within your heart and soul disappears! There is only the world and its desires and sorrows.
If you wish to see the God within you, then try to shut out the windows of desire that bind you to the outside world, not for a few minutes, or hours, but for all time, and then see and feel the presence of the God within you.
It is very difficult, you will say. But then when even worldly things are so hard to attain then how can it be a child's play to attain God?
Pray to Him to shut out the windows of your desires, to detach your mind from the things of the perishable world and to attach it to Himself forever.
In the ultimate analysis He will allow the pictures of the world also to remain inside you but make them more beautiful with His Presence within.
Keep HH Shri Nathji's photo in front of you and pray before it with earnestness and He will reveal Himself to you in your heart and make your world more beautiful.

ARE HEAVEN AND HELL REAL PLACES?

ARE HEAVEN AND HELL REAL PLACES?
==============================================
We often say that a person has gone to his "heavenly abode" when he leaves the world.
But do we really know where he has gone? Only he will know, or God, who created life and death, and who created this earth and heaven and hell.
The person who leaves the world has multiple choices of the places where he may be sent by God or his own karmas.
1. He may be sent back to a lower form of life upon the planet earth, if he has misused his wealth and comfort in this life.
2.Or he may be given a better life than the one he led on earth because of his good deeds upon earth.
3.Or he may be sent to Heaven if he has attained God in this world, and live there till eternity with Him. Such a person indeed is the rarest of the rare.
However, since people do not take God seriously and use him only for their needs, and do not have REAL FAITH in Him, they seldom attain this state of Heaven for Eternity.
4. Or he may be sent to hell if he has been very evil upon the earth. No man is considered so evil that he may rot in hell till eternity.
5. He may be sent to heaven and hell for various periods of time before he is given birth again upon this earth. And this entire vicious cycle of life and death may start again and again.
6. He may be given birth on some other planet in this vast universe where millions of planets exist, to be either happy or miserable there.
7. IN THIS VAST CREATION WHERE LIGHT FROM FARAWAY STARS HAS NOT YET BEEN ABLE TO REACH US EVEN THOUGH IT TRAVELS AT A SPEED OF 186,000 MILES PER SECOND, IT IS CERTAIN THAT OTHER WORLDS EXIST OF WHICH WE ARE NOT EVEN AWARE.
8, SO IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT GOD HAS CREATED REAL PLACES IN THIS UNIVERSE WHICH WE CAN CALL HEAVEN AND HELL.
9, SO DO NOT MAKE FUN OF THEM OR SPEAK OF THEM DERIDINGLY, FOR YOU MIGHT BE A CANDIDATE NEXT ON THE LIST FOR ENTRY INTO ANY ONE OF THEM.
10. CHECK ON YOUR OWN KARMAS AND BE YOUR OWN JUDGE BEFORE A DIVINE JUDGE PRESIDES OVER YOU AND YOU HAVE NO TIME TO RECTIFY YOUR LIVES.

THE QUALITIES OF AN AVATAR

THE QUALITIES OF AN AVATAR
===============================================
DEFINING HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI WHO CAME INTO THIS WORLD SILENTLY AND LEFT WITH THE SAME DEGREE OF SILENCE, GIVING PEACE AND BEATITUDE TO COUNTLESS SOULS.
===============================================
1. The most striking quality of an Avatar is his Divine Beauty, the sheer perfection of his features, not found on any other face in the world. This makes everyone stop and look at him.
2. The second quality is the Divine Light that lights up his countenance and is a sign of the Glory of God within him.
3. All who come before him feel an ineffable, undefinable happiness which sheds them of their fears and worries without a word being said.
Miracles dance attendance upon him but he attaches no importance to them.
4. The word "God" echoes in their hearts and souls all by itself. It is a feeling which comes from within them without a word being said.
5. They find all their questions in life answered all by themselves, without the questions being asked.
His words are like divine nectar raining from the heavens.
6. For a while they feel as if they are in another world where there is only God Consciousness.
7. Most of all they feel a powerful, unsurpassable, feeling of Love Divine reach out to them and touch their hearts and souls.
His eyes shower down compassion, mercy, and kindness never before seen on earth.
8. People find tears streaming down their faces when they meet him for the first time in their lives. It is as if he is their nearest and dearest loved one,
9. When they part from him it is with tears in their eyes, the feeling of an unbearable separation from him- even though they have met him for the first time in their entire lives.
10. What surprises them most is the Majestic, Royal personality of the Avatar, which is filled with the greatest humility in the world, with not an iota of pride within him.
11. The Avatar does not call himself your Master. He calls himself "your servant"-- in fact the Servant of the Earth.
12. And all these qualities described HH Shri Bhola Nathji to perfection.
" THOU ART THE VERY BEGINNING OF LOVE,
AND THOU THE LIMITS OF BEAUTY ITSELF,
LET IT NOT BE CONCEALED, THE SECRET IS OUT--
THOU ART MAN AND THOU ART GOD."

GENERATIONS WILL LOOK BACK AND WONDER WHO CAME UPON THIS EARTH

GENERATIONS WILL LOOK BACK AND WONDER WHO CAME UPON THIS EARTH
=================================================
From the memoirs of HH Shri Bhola Nathji a Great Spiritual Luminary in whom people saw the Glory of God, and who gave peace and beatitude to countless folk, relieving them of their ills and sorrows. And whose presence many still feel from the Heavenly Plane.
================================================
Shri Nathji's love made itself felt even on
the friends of Pran Nath and Priya Nath at
the University, and Shri Nathji would
frequently take them home where
Mateshwari would entertain them with tea
and pastry.
Notable amongst the friends was a Ravi
Kumar Kakkar. His father had died when he
was very young and he began to experience
in Shri Nathji a love he had hitherto not felt
before, a love that exceeded anything his
own family and friends had ever given him
before. On many occasions Shri Nathji went
to leave him at his home at 13, Rani Mandi.
Shri Nathji did not reveal his real self on
Kakkar at the time, and remained, for the
most part, the father of his friends, Pran
Nath and Priya Nath.
However he was placing a seed in the heart
of the young man which was to grow
silently and invisibly in the years to come.
About thirty years later, Kakkar was to see
this seed emerge into a beautiful tree of
devotion in which Shri Nathji stood before
him as God.
In these later years, he had numerous
experiences in his life that convinced him
that Shri Nathji was always with him,
helping him and saving him even in the most
difficult moments of life.
There came a time in his life when he was
posted in Assam as an engineer laying
telephone cables. One night his residence
was invaded by a group of terrorists. They
applied a gun to his forehead and would
have shot him, but for their leader –who saw
a photograph of Shri Nathji lying in his
house– and who was touched miraculously by the photo and immediately said: “Don’t
shoot him. Let him go!”
On another occasion he had been acutely
depressed with illnesses and financial
problems and was sitting in a chair in front
of Shri Nathji's portrait. Suddenly Shri
Nathji’s voice rang out: “Don’t think of
anything. Think only of me!”
His son Ashish had a serious accident followed by an operation which rendered his arm useless and paralysed. There was no hope of any recovery as the doctors said. And then suddenly the arm got all right by itself by a miracle. Kakkar knew it was a miracle of Shri Nathji. Even the attending doctor said to him: "This is definitely a miracle of God!"
Soon thereafter all his troubles in life
disappeared miraculously and he found
himself enjoying peace and prosperity on an
unprecedented scale.
Though many of his officers tried very hard
to get him transferred to Assam once again,
a divine power seemed to reach out and stay
their hand every time.
Kakkar would always say: “It is Shri
Maharajji who is working behind everything
that happens in the world.”
His wife was miraculously saved on many
occasions during the days when he had left
her in Delhi and gone to Saudi Arabia.
Both, husband and wife had come to have an
abiding faith in Shri Nathji and saw his hand
working in all their affairs of life.
He then said to Priya Nath: “During those
days at the University I did not fully
understand Shri Maharaj ji, but I did feel
that he was all Love. I know now that when
I used to sing the film song: ‘Too pyaar kaa
saagar hai – Thou art an ocean of Love’, I
was in fact addressing him.
"It is so clear now. I recall the famous words of Einstein,
which can now be applied to Shri Nathji:
“‘Generations will look back and wonder
whether such a one as He walked upon the
earth in flesh and blood.’”

THE VOICE OF DEATH

THE VOICE OF DEATH
======================
BY HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI A GREAT SPIRITUAL LUMINARY WHO GAVE PEACE AND BEATITUDE TO COUNTLESS FOLK DURING HIS LIFETIME AND WHO STILL WATCHES OVER US FROM HIS CELESTIAL PLANE
===============================================
One of the most amazing things in the world is that people leave the world before our eyes every day and no one is ever made conscious of his own approaching death. Everyone thinks he is going to live forever, until the inevitable happens.
All his actions, all his ambitions, his accumulations of wealth and properties, end in the nothingness that is the inevitable end of human existence upon earth, known as Death.
And then there is the Voice of Death:
"“O Man, you had forgotten my existence, for verily you hated the very thought of me. But I am not entirely without significance. It is true that I present a face that is altogether fierce and frightening.
"But to understand me is to know my secret, which reveals only a face of joy; which awakens everyone from a sleep of confusion; which dispels the fears of this world; which wipes away these tears of sorrow, that had been flowing down to this day, and which effaces all memories of the unfaithfulness and ingratitude of this world, giving you a final release from it all.
"The sinking of the sun of your life is not an end, but rather is a beginning, which brings you to that resting place where the turmoils of the world cease to exist. The flower of your existence has not withered away, it has been taken to a place more secure, where the beaks of birds cannot harm it, nor the gardener place it under an obligation.”
"Death is an awakening from the dreams of life, which tells you that everything that was seen or heard was like a dream that came and went away."
"The Very Same God who had created Life, had also created Death. Life is an Order of God that brings you into this world, and Death too His order which takes you away from this world.. We have to obey both with equanimity.
We can make Death beautiful if we understand that:
"Death is a staircase leading to the house of the Beloved Lord. It is the final destination of the journey of Life."

LEAVING THE WORLD ONE BY ONE

LEAVING THE WORLD ONE BY ONE
=====================================
When I first came to Facebook in 2009 I had a host of friends and devotees who were with me. Then suddenly over the years the inevitable began to happen.-- friends as well as devotees began leaving the world, one by one. Some left young while others in their old age, leaving a host of remembrances in my heart.
Only this morning at 4 am, it was learnt that Shri Chaman Lal Khosla had left for his abode in the heavens - Nath Lok.
He had already been taken off the ventilator at the hospital and sent home to die by the hospital, and was not responding in any manner.
Then I spoke to his unconscious form, over a long distance telephone call,for about half an hour, because I knew that although his body was unconscious, the soul within was listening.
And quite suddenly, much to the astonishment of all, Shri Chaman Lal moved his hands together and brought the palms of his hands together in a last salute, pranaam, to me.
This was late last night. And he left very peacefully at 4 am this morning.
He was an ardent devotee of my father HH Shri Bhola Nathji for over 60 years, since a very young age, and later in his twilight years his devotion was turned towards me as he beheld HH Shri Bhola Nathji in me.
I will always remember him as the only devotee whose hands were folded together in a gesture of "pranaams"every time he came before me over the many years, of his devotion.
His going away is a loss to the world, which is always poorer whenever any righteous soul leaves it for its heavenly abode.
Each one of us is unique in his or her own way, and there shall never be a replacement for anyone that is gone.
Which brings to fore the Verse of HH Shri Bhola Nathji:
"Jo Baadaakash thhe puraane vo utthe chale jaate hain,
Kaheen se Aabe Bakaaye Davaam le Saaki"
"Thy older lovers are leaving this world, one by one,
O Lord! Bring forth Thy Nectar of Eternal Life which will bring them back to life again!"

WHEN A DEVOTEE LEAVES THE WORLD

WHEN A DEVOTEE LEAVES THE WORLD
=============================================
Yesterday Night, Rama Taman, the wife of Sharad Taman of Amravati in Maharashtra left the world. Both of them were staunch devotees of HH Shri Bhola Nathji and myself.
Before leaving the world she had just one wish in her heart and that was to come and pay her obeisances to the Holy Place here and to visit me. And she kept on taking my name again and again for several days before she left the world in a hospital.
However her wish was fulfilled in Death, even as she came over in Spirit form and paid her obeisances.
She was the gentlest and most amicable wife anyone would want in the world, one who never complained, never disagreed, never argued, but continued with her duties as a housewife as cheerfully as she could.
She did not leave the world empty-handed as most people do, for she had had the privilege of serving God upon Earth with her own hands for three months in the year 1987, when she cooked food for HH Shri Bhola Nathji, my father.
That cooking service was her earning for the next world, an earning that would take her to the holiest of heavens, where illnesses and troubles would never touch her, and where she would remain for time immemorial.
Her husband Sharad Taman, is convinced of this, and so am I and many others.
There is no need for anyone to pray for peace to her soul as she is showering peace down upon the earth in her invisible form, on all her relatives and loved ones and all others.
This is the truth of life that everyone forgets in the rat race of the materialistic world, that out of the precious moments of your life, the only moments that really earn you anything for the next world, are the moments you have spent in the Service of God.
In the photograph of 1987 below where the Taman family were washing the feet of my father, HH Shri Bhola Nathji, with myself sitting next to him. -- there is Rama Taman in a red saree sitting on the ground with her husband and in-laws.
