Savitri Devi ( 1915-1967)
This picture was also
taken in the Himalayas of the small city of Mussoorie in Northern India, where
my parents spent a large part of their lives together.
I am grateful to the
photographers of those days who actually painted the back and white pictures from
the colours they could recall, of their customers' clothes. Colored film was
not in vogue then.
