WHY HE SETTLED ABROAD

WHY HE SETTLED ABROAD
( SPOOF - EDITED) SO PLEASE READ A SECOND TIME!
1. When he was in India he could not bear to see the poverty and the slums, and the sight was so shocking that he wished to forget it-- so he went to live abroad.
2.There he got a high paying job at Silicon Valley, and the dollars were so wonderful they made him forget the paltry rupees he used to get in India.
4. Also the richer he became, the more he was led to think of the poverty at home, the more he sympathized with them.
5. Whenever he ate fatty, sumptuous foods it made him forget the starving masses who had not a morsel to eat. But he had to do this in order to forget the feeling of starvation they must have been feeling.
7. He got a large comfortable house to live in, so that he could forget the slums he had seen at home. The little huts were SO heart-rending. He had to forget them. And feel their misery. He felt it all the more in his luxurious home.
8. When the cold weather came he got the best of heating systems so that he could forget the poor who slept and died of the cold on the roads in the hundreds at home.. It was the least he could do to forget their plight.
9. And when came the summer he got the best air conditioners and cooling systems so that he could forget the hundreds who died on the roads at home from heat stroke because they had no roof over their heads. It was so sad. His cooling system made him empathize with those who got heat stroke at home.
10 Then he visited India with the idea of doing some good. And he did. He got a large farm house with a swing so that he could swing on the swing and think of the poor around him, so that he could throw parties and try to forget the misery around him. He also got a swimming pool to make him forget this misery of the poor all the more.
11. Another reason for his coming to India was, that despite his American accent, he had discovered with a shock that American women preferred American men and no one would marry him, maybe because he was ugly as well. So he chose some poor unsuspecting beautiful Indian girl his parents had found for him in India, and impressed the girl's family with his dollars in America and got married in the typical Indian style, riding in the bridegroom's procession with a huge turban on his head.
12.Finally he thought of how to help the poor-- but sadly it was time to go back and enjoy his honeymoon. His flight was waiting for him. And he returned to the land of sugar and honey at Silicon Valley, with his heart heavier than before, bleeding for the poor of India..
12. Who says those who immigrate abroad dont have a heart?
