"THE TAILOR AND THE CLOTH"

You take the cloth to a tailor and ask him to make a suit out of it.
Your cloth is so expensive that you are loathe to part from it and you ask the tailor to make the suit before your eyes!
You purchase an expensive piece of cloth for a suit.
You have never seen how a suit is made before in your life. This is your first time.
Suddenly you panic when the tailor begins by cutting your cloth into large pieces with a large pair of scissors!
You shout at the tailor:
"What are you doing? I asked you to make a suit out of the cloth but you are destroying the cloth, cutting it into so many pieces mercilessly! It was such an expensive piece of cloth, and you have ruined it!"
The tailor asks you to be patient and wait.
Then he begins to stitch the pieces together with the sewing machine and needle and thread.
And within a few hours he has made a beautiful suit out of the cloth.
You realize then that when the tailor was cutting the cloth he was not doing so to destroy it but rather to stitch a beautiful suit out of it.
So it is when you place your troubles before God and ask Him to solve them for you. Suddenly you find all your plans going awry, all your designs destroyed and all your hopes ruined!
You rue the fact that you approached God in the first place!
But then you suddenly discover that a beautiful scheme of things is emerging from all your earlier plans and designs. He was not dashing your hopes to pieces, he was remodeling all your hopes and plans to create a beautiful scheme of his own for you, which far exceeded your own hopes and aspirations.
So if God appears to destroy your plans despite your prayers then do not be dismayed, he is cutting and stitching the cloth of your dreams to make a beautiful world out of it.
