GOD IS "NOWHERE" OR "NOW HERE" ?

GOD IS "NOWHERE" OR "NOW HERE" ?
===============================================
FROM THE PARABLES OF HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI (1902-1992) who was a Great Spiritual Luminary, whose divine presence and writings still bring peace to mankind.
===============================================
HH Shri Bhola Nathji always composed each and every one of his parables, which enthralled the hearts of his audiences, be they young or old, intellectuals or ordinary folk.
He would frequently narrate this parable from the days of his youth in the 1920's:
"There was a rich and powerful man who had got everything that he wanted in life-- wealth, status, power, good health and a good family, etc. In fact he had more than he would ever need in a lifetime.
And the net result of all these gifts of God was that he forgot God altogether and began to enjoy himself. For him God did not matter any longer and he often said: "God is Nowhere!"
Then one day he went on an ocean voyage in a ship, which was suddenly hit by a terrible storm. The man was afraid, and in panic ran to the captain of the ship to do something. The captain became irritated and said:
"I know my job. Please don't interfere!"
He ran to the other passengers in the ship and asked them to help him, but they were as helpless as he.
He even tried to hold the railings of the ship to stop it from shaking in the waters of the ocean. But his strength was too feeble.
All of a sudden he realised that his wealth, honour, status, family and power were of no use to him. He saw Death staring him in the face, in the storm which tossed his ship around relentlessly.
In desperation he raised his voice to the waters and the storm and said:
"I command you to stop!"
But the storm was lifeless and did not listen to him. He who was accustomed to having all his orders obeyed, suddenly found himself absolutely helpless with no one and nothing to help him.
Then he turned his face upwards to the sky and said with great feeling and prayer:
"O God! Please stop the storm! Please let my ship get across the ocean! After that you ,may choose to exist or not to exist!"
All of a sudden the formation of the clouds in the sky which had been saying "GOD IS NOWHERE" changed into "GOD IS NOW HERE!' and the storm subsided.
The man was humbled beyond measure and bowed his head before God and repented for his pride and wealth which had all been given by God-- in return for which he had forgotten God."

This parable is a warning to all those who come into great power and wealth and happiness to not to lose faith in the very God who gave them everything, but rather to remain ever humble and grateful to Him for his gifts, or else they will be stricken by a great calamity one day, which will make them realise that "GOD IS NOW HERE!"
GOD IS HE WHO CAN MAKE YOUR IMPOSSIBLE TASKS POSSIBLE AND AT THE SAME TIME MAKE YOUR POSSIBLE TASKS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE.
