NO DESIRE FOR GREATNESS

NO DESIRE FOR GREATNESS
==============================================
From the Biography of HH Shri Bhola Nathji the Great Spiritual Luminary who gave peace and beatitude to countless souls relieving them of their ills and sorrows, and in whom people saw God Incarnate. He called himself the Servant of the Earth.

“There are some pearls that are exhibited in
decorated boxes in jeweller’s shops but
there are other pearls that remain hidden in
oysters’ shells deep inside the ocean, and are
hard to get. They are of much greater worth.

Whilst there are holy men, mahatmas, who are
propagating their names in the world with
great pomp and show, there are others who
live in solitude and do not care for worldly
praise.
These mahatmas have a greater
power than those who seek the praise of the
world.
Shri Nathji would also say:
“Saari duniyaa hi meri hai main laakhon ki
bheerren ikkatti kar ke kyaa karoongaa!
“The whole world is mine – of what use
collecting crowds of lakhs of people!”
“Main chaahoon to ek khshann men saari
duniyaan ko bulaa saktaa hoon–magar
rakkhoongaa kahaan!
“If I so wish I can call the whole world to
myself in a moment, but where will I keep it!”
“Those who desire greatness are far
removed from greatness. I have no desire for
greatness within me!”
At one time Shri Nathji had said:
“Mujhe History ki bhee parvaa naheen. Unhi
ke naam likh deejiye history men jinke man
men ye ichhaa hai!
“I do not care for History. Write down the
names of those who desire it!”
