THE MOON WEEPS TODAY

THE MOON WEEPS TODAY

The moon which has always been associated with love and emotions, will be there in the skies as usual tonight. But the first man upon earth who set foot on the moon is gone to higher regions.

Neil Armstrong was a very
special human being. When his two year old daughter died of brain cancer in 1965, he was devastated with sorrow. But he continued with his resolve to be an astronaut. And on July 20, 1969 became the first man to set foot on the moon.

His historic That's one small step for man. One giant leap for mankind.

He was a humble man who did not participate in the numerous functions organised to honor him, nor did he accept to enter politics on an elevated post. He was noble and good and righteous -- there must have been something special in him for God to have given him the honor of being the first man to set foot on another of his creations called the moon

Look tonight at the moon. And think of Neil Armstrong, reluctant hero, the quiet man whose footsteps still rest upon the moon and in history.

One of the first pictures of the earth from the moon showed a little bluish green football. It appeared so small from outer space.

Looking upon that little ball from outer space called the EARTH one sees it as a unified whole. The Earth. On which there is mankind.
You cant even see the humans sitting out there in space. Neil Armstrong's step on the moon made mankind into a unified whole.

You cannot even imagine that they have divided up the earth into nations and races and religions and are all quarreling with each other.
Looking at that little ball from the moon one would wish to laugh at such a thought! Not only is mankind doing all this today, it has done it ever since the earth came into existence in the Universe.

Neil Armstrong may have been an American Citizen - but he is more than that. He does not belong to any race, country or nation -- up there on the moon he was a man who belonged to the entire earth. And he still does.

Our hearts and tears go out to all his family members on this sad day, he will never be forgotten for as long as mankind can look up and see the moon in the skies. The moon was associated with romance and it shall be more so - for the love of Neil Armstrong.
