WHAT IS THE AIM OF HUMAN LIFE?

We have come into this world, and we do not know why. If someone were to ask us "Why are you here?"
The only thing we can say with positiveness is
"We have come here only to go away!"
The History of the world shows billions of persons who have come into this world and have gone.
So we must leave this world as well, this is a certainty, not a mere philosophical whim..
Even the going away of one person proves the fact that we too must leave the world one day.
Time is passing by swiftly without letting us know. Childhood turns into young age, and young age into middle age and middle age into old age and finally old age leads to death.
The moment we refer to as the "present", goes no sooner than it comes. The present is the future coming before us like a flowing river and turning into the past.
We do know that all the material wealth we have gathered, all the relationships that we have made in this world shall end abruptly one day with death, which may come at any time. These material things shall remain but we shall not be here to possess them any longer.
"This garden shall remain here
But all the birds of different feathers,
That speak in different voices shall be gone."
All the religions of the world speak out almost simultaneously that the aim of human life is to unite with God, the Creator, He who created the world and sent you here.
But how can we find God and unite with Him?
In order to reach God you must first inculcate a thirst for Him.
Either the sufferings of the world force you to seek God or else God Himself lights up your heart if it so moves Him. But your heart must be pure in the first place, in which He can see the reflection of his own Face.
God is like the Sun. You can see the Sun only with the Light of the Sun. You can unite with God only through His Grace.
In all the works of life that you do, from the moment you get up and start the day, and the time you go to sleep at night, keep God with yourself. FEEL His presence with you all the time.
And if you really feel that God is with you all the time then you can never do anything that is wrong, nor be afraid of anything in the world. Whatever comes will be a measure of His Will.
The chief thing is this that you should never stray from the Garden of Truth, Universal Love, and Faith and that you should do good to all men at all times -- your Master Himself will come and take your hand.
