Thoughts of HH Shri Babaji Maharaj (1867-1940), the father of HH Shri Nathji, and my Grandfather.
Shri Babaji was a millionaire who gave away all his wealth to the poor and took to the spiritual path. Multitudes began to throng to him to find peace and beatitude and a release from their sorrows and sufferings. He loved everybody and everybody loved him. He was regarded as a great sage and prophet of his times by those who came into touch with him. People saw the Light of God in him.
His sayings still guide humanity today.

After HH Shri Babaji had given away his wealth, he, naturally found
himself in dire straits in the world. He who had been living in Grand
mansions and walking on carpets found himself homeless and walking on
the ground.But his belief in God was so great and unshakable that no
state in the world was unpleasant for him and he accepted everything as a
measure of the Divine Will.
In all sorrows and joys that came to him in life, he saw the Will of God working.
People who had met him narrated how they had seen him dancing with bliss when he was faced with the greatest of calamities in life.
He would say:
"There is no state Higher then mine,
And there is no state Lower than mine,
And there is no state like mine!!"
He would face every difficult situation in life saying:
"Nothing is impossible with God! Did you create the world? Did you create the human body and the mind? Does the sun rise and sink in the sky in accordance with your Will? Do the seasons change in accordance with your will? You cannot change the scheme of God, you are a small part of it,
" So if the Divine Will is already running the Universe, why do you fear and worry for yourself? You are a part of the Universe and the Divine Will must have provided an answer for all your needs as well!"
People would be amazed at the miraculous manner in which they saw things happening around him
One day he made a statement that startled everyone. He said in a mood of great reverie and divine bliss:
"The Entire Universe is moving in accordance with my will!"
His startled devotees said:
"Sire! But you used to say that the entire Universe was moving in accordance with the Will of God!"
And Shri Babaji replied:
"I have no will of my own. I have surrendered my will completely before the Will of God. Therefore I work only in accordance with the Divine Will and the Div
