WHAT IS THE REMEDY TO THE UNREST IN THE WORLD

WHY IS THE UNREST IN THE WORLD INCREASING?
Everybody appears to have lost his peace of mind and is running after material wealth, success and fame. And in this rat race they have lost their most valuable possession -their peace of mind.
People have become quick to lose their tempers, violence on the slightest pretext is the order of the day.No one has any concern for anyone else. Honesty and Truth are the greatest casualties.
When does this unrest end?
Sadly it ends only with the end of life, when death comes, either slowly through a disease, or quickly through an accident. When all plans and ambitions, all rivalries, hatreds, jealousies come to an abrupt end.
"Alas! Our Failed Life! It was only at the time of Death we knew,
That all that was seen or heard was in fact nothing but a Dream"
Is there a remedy for this rat race?
Yes, there is. But few will follow it or try to understand it.
THE REMEDY LIES IN KNOWING THAT THIS WORLD IS A TEMPORARY PLACE OF RESIDENCE AND WE HAVE TO GO FROM HERE ONE DAY.
If we really and truly believe that we have to leave the compartment of a train and the train is not our home then we shall not be too concerned about "possessing" the things in the train.
We shall not be angry and violent at the slightest provocations because we know that all our companions, be they near and dear ones or strangers, have to leave us one day and we have to leave them one day.
It is only because we have come to think of the train as our home that all the unrest has set in.
Onc
e we realize that this life is a journey and everything in it is a temporary passing phase we shall not be too concerned about what transpires, and will bide our time in peace, loving and helping fellow passengers so that when they leave they shall carry love for us in their hearts and vice versa.
Here is HH Shri Bhola Nathji's Verse, that narrates the situation:
"We have become great, but what then?
We have become small, but what then?
We have become like this, but what then?
We have become like that, but what then?
When we have not to stay in this Garden of Life,--
Then if thou dost become the Spring, and I,the Autumn,
Ah! But what then!"
