FREEDOM FROM WORRY
By HH Shri Bhola Nathji ( 1902-1992) a great spiritual luminary of his time, Founder of the World Prayer Day for Peace.
HH Shri Nathji was in Lahore in Northern India in 1937. It was past midnight. He got up and switched on the light and wrote down a Persian Verse on a sheet of paper, on a sudden inspiration, or like a revelation.
Then he called out to his follower, Shri Ram Gopal Mehra, who was sleeping in the next room. And he read the verse out to him and explained the meaning of the Verse.
HH Shri Nathji added:
"In this Verse lies the freedom of mankind from all worries!!"
The Original Verse in Persian was:
"Kaar saaze maa, ba fikre kaare maa,
Fikre maa, dar kaare maa, aazaaare maa!"
Meaning in English:
"He who is doing all my works is worrying over them!
But when I myself worry over my works, this becomes the cause of my misery!"
"When man comes to understand that all his works in life are being done by God for him, and that God is worrying over his works.
Then what is the cause of man's misery? His misery begins when he starts worrying over his own works -- forgetting the fact that Someone All Powerful is already in charge of them and is worrying over them!!"
So next time you are tempted to worry about anything, ask yourself.
-"Why am I worrying? Let Him worry who is worrying over them!!"
This verse will set you free of worry even in the worst of situations in life..."
When you are in a taxi, you leave the driving to the taxi driver and let him worry about the traffic. You sit back in your seat and relax. You dont worry about the driving yourself, and if you do, that becomes the source of your misery.
But if you have full confidence in the taxi driver that he is the best expert there is, and that he knows what he is doing then you dont worry at all!!
So if you can entrust your life into the hands of a taxi driver and be free of worry yourself, why cannot you entrust your life into the hands of an All Powerful God and be free of worry yourself!!
Indeed since the time the Verse was written by HH Shri Bhola Nathji many people have tried it out in their lives and seen that it really works!!! Not only does their worry disapppear but their works get solved by the Invisible Hand controlling them!!!
