THE DIVINE BEAUTY OF THE CREATOR

January 12
From the memoirs of HH Shri Bhola Nathjii ( 1902-1992) The Founder of the World Prayer Day for Peace

Look upon the Divine Beauty of the Creator,
a millionth of which is reflected in this
world.

Gardens laden with roses fill the air
with fragrance, the beauty of the moon is
reflected in yonder pool. Look upwards at
the moon itself and perceive the Real
Beauty.

This Universe is but a reflection of that
Beauty Divine. That wonderful, fragrant
Rose that fills the garden of this world with
scent, but is itself hidden somewhere.

The first rays of the sun peep from behind
those hills far away. The sun is risen. The
time is now at hand.

If the pleasures of the world had an intrinsic
value, they would be permanent and
satisfying. But no, they run ahead and are
lost and drowned in time.

How could shadows ever pervade the
garden, if the luminescence were of the
garden itself? But they do, and thus prove
that the luminescence is not of the garden
but of the sun.

The fleeting pleasures of this world give a
clear proof of the existence of him above
from whom all pleasures stem.
