Holi Ghazal - Color of Love

HOLI GHAZAL - THE SONG OF THE FESTIVAL OF COLORS

by HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI ( 1902-1992) THE FOUNDER OF THE WORLD PRAYER FOR PEACE

Tomorrow, March 17th, 2014, the whole of India celebrates Holi - the festival of colors-- where people douse all kinds of colours on each other, in a spirit of fraternity and love and joy. The colours may be dry powders of wet.

HH Shri Bhola Nathji, my father, wrote over 30,000 Urdu Ghazals -- poems to be sung as songs--during the ages of 80 and 90 over a period of severe illnesses. It was his Divine Power that he was experiencing Bliss and Joy even during this period of physical suffering.

His poems carry Divine Aurhority. This particular Holi Ghazal appeares to have been written by God Himself, where God visualizes how his cup of colours tipped over and doused the world with all the colors that exist in the world. It is beyond the imagination of an ordinary human poet.

The Ghazal also says that this life is temporary, and therefore let us all get together and celebrate it in Love Divine.

The English subtitles explain the meaning of the verses as I sing it at home
