A PORTRAIT OF HH SHRI NATHJI, 1939, BLESSING A DEVOTEE, WHO WAS GIVEN A NEW LIFE BY HIM.
This Persian Verse on top of the photograph was written by HH Shri Bhola Nathji to a very dear devotee of his, Sardar Basant Singh, who was broken-hearted in love, with no desire left to live, but who found a new zest for life and an hitherto inexperienced divine love and divine bliss, when he came before HH Shri Bhola Nathji and became his devotee, forever.
Indeed, many a dead soul was brought back to life by HH Shri Bhola Nathji, through his healing touch of the Divine.
The Persian Verse written by HH Shri Bhola Nathji
on top of the photo is:
"Vazaan chaman ki naseeme vazad za turraye dost,
Chih jaaye dam zadane naafahaaye taataareest"
"The Garden in which the air brings fragrance from a touch of the Divine,
Can scarce be matched by the fragrance of the worldly musks of scent"
The meaning of this Verse is that when man has experienced the Divine Love and Divine Bliss that comes from the nearness of God, then worldly joys pale into insignificance.
