THOUGHTS OF HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI (1902-1992) A GREAT SPIRITUAL LUMINARY OF HIS TIME."PEACE IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN HEAVEN WITHOUT IT"
There was a time when several theologians of various faiths came to see HH Shri Bhola Nathji and to seek his benedictions.
As he spoke to them he said:
"All the religions of the world speak of Salvation as being a release from the sufferings of the world and most of them define salvation with the simple words - NEVER TO COME BACK INTO THIS WORLD.
"This means that they look upon this world as transient and temporary, and, in fact, such a dreadful place, that not coming back into this world is defined as Salvation.
"Further they speak of Salvation as living forever in a place called Heaven, where there is Everlasting Peace and Everlasting Happiness.
"Now I wish to ask all of you learned folk in theology, that if you leave this world and then enter into a Heaven, and discover after a while that you dont find PEACE there! Would you be willing to live in such a Heaven?
"Quite clearly, your answer will be NO!"
"This shows quite clearly that PEACE is greater than a Heaven without it.
"How wonderful it would be if you could find PEACE here on earth and make your life into a Heaven, through your own faiths and beliefs!"
"The chief thing is this : that you should never stray from the Garden of Truth, Universal Love and Faith, and your Master Himself will come and take your hand! Then your life upon earth shall itself turn into a Heaven filled with Everlasting Peace and Happiness."
