There is a feature on Facebook where people can go and POKE each other.
Many people simply ignore it or think of it as a joke and dont bother
about the people who are Poking them.
They are making a big mistake. And they dont realize how many friends they are losing every time they ignore these Pokes.
Facebook is like one Big International Neighborhood and we are all living in separate homes of our own -- which are our Time Line Profiles and Pages.
Whenever someone comes and Pokes us, it is a like neighbor knocking at our door, unobtrusively, just to let us know that he is thinking of us.
He is not knocking to come inside, but just to let us know that he is thinking of us!
How wonderful to be remembered by anyone in this self-centered world where no one has time to think of anyone else!
It is only in the fitness of things that we Poke back to let him know we appreciate his remembering us.
I TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK MY FRIENDS WHO POKE ME FROM TIME TO TIME!
How wonderful if people living in real cities and towns and in their neighborhoods would occasionally come to knock at each other's doors just to find out whether everyone else is all right....it would become a real universal brotherhood of mankind filled with love and care and affection...maybe we should strive to achieve this in the New Year 2017 which is still continuing.....
