WOULD WE FIND PEACE IN HEAVEN?

WOULD WE FIND PEACE IN HEAVEN?
______________________________________________________
FROM THE THOUGHTS OF MY FATHER HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI,(1902-1992) A GREAT SPIRITUAL LUMINARY OF HIS TIME WHOSE MISSION WAS THAT OF LOVE.
=====================================================

There are various faiths with various concepts of heaven, most of which postulate Everlasting Peace and Happiness in Heaven with their Lord.
Yet if we look at human nature we will find out why this would not be very likely.
Firstly, the human nature is very restless and changeable. In fact it has been defined in certain scriptures that human nature is like a monkey who has drunk a hundred bottles of wine and is stung by a hundred scorpions!
Human Nature is as restless as a blind ant rushing here and there, changing directions, hitting against objects, always in search of something.
Secondly, Eternity is a long time. Even an hour , a day or year is difficult to pass for most. Hundreds of years and thousands of years would create an unmitigated boredom, and would make most people think of Eternity as an Eternal happy prison, but pleasantly
boring.
And what would they do during this time? Play the Harp or The Guitar? Or the Lute? And sing the praises of the Lord.
Would God not be bored by their constant singing and music for eternity? Maybe the music wont be to the Lord's liking!
So the first person to get bored with such a multitude of Beings in Heaven would be the Lord himself, having to listen to human prattle day in and day out.
Already there would be discontent amongst the people living there, disagreeing with each other's musical compositions!
And most of all, would be the fear of being thrown out of heaven for committing some fault or some unintended sin. Here again conflicts would begin to arise between various sections of people There would be backbiting and complaints.
The seed for discontent and lack of peace would be sown by humans themselves.
Then according to some faiths the time allotted to various people in heaven would be different. Some would be allowed to stay only for a few months, some for a few years, some for centuries, depending upon their good actions on earth, their good karmas.
There would be jealousies amongst the inmates. Everyone would be counting the number of days he or she has left to stay in Paradise. They would dread thinking of leaving heaven and being cast down back into the earth in accordance with their Karmas, or even being sent to hell next.
And most of all there would be lovers in heaven whose beloveds are in hell or are still on earth. For them separation from their beloveds is hell and union with the beloveds is heaven.
Imagine the parents in heaven with their son thrown in hell, would they enjoy even a moment of heaven knowing that their son is burning in the fires of hell?
So if the lover is in heaven he would much rather be thrown into the hell where he can find union with his beloved and that would be his heaven.
It is the voice of the lover to the Lord: "O Lord! Please cast me into hell where my beloved is, so that I can find union with my Beloved there!".
Thus without Love even heaven could become Hell for some.
Then there are those whose egos become bloated and who start calling themselves God. They forget they can be cast out at any time by the Lord.
Then who would be the ones who would be happiest in heaven till eternity-- those who have given up their own wills and allowed only the Divine Will to prevail. Those who have merged themselves completely into God. Whose individual " I", or ego is gone forever.
Renounce all thought of my and mine,
And from a drop become the sea.
Lose thou thyself in Truth Divine,
And know thou art Infinity.
