 DEAD RAJA BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE

It was early in the 1930's when Shri Nathji was staying at the house of R.R. Khanna, the Registrar of the Lucknow University.

People were flocking at the house for Shri Nathji's darshan and blessings, acknowledging the presence of a Divine Being in their midst,

RR Khanna was a close friend of Raja Jagat and his family.

One days news came to him that Raja Jagat had been involved in a serious motorcycle accident and his dead body had lain cold on a lonely road before it was brought from the villagers there, and taken to King George Medical College at Lucknow.

RR Khanna rushed there along with the Raja's mother, the Rajmata,

and very soon there were sounds of weeping and crying as crowds gathered there.

The doctors at the Hospital said that the body had been cold for several hours and there was no hope on his being revived again, but still they tried to do whatever they could using artificial resuscitation, which was not working either.

As the Raja's mother wept copiously and loudly at the hospital

RR Khanna said to her:

"Mother! There is only one place where new life may be granted to your son-- and that is Shri Nathji. Catch hold of his feet and don't let them go until he says 'yes'!"

Khanna and the Raja's mother rushed to Shri Nathji where the old lady fell at the feet of Shri Nathji and began weeping her heart out in loud tears.

"Say that he will live!" she said to Shri Nathji amidst her tears.

Shri Nathji listened to her weeping with deep compassion.

After some time Shri Nathji said to her:

"Mataji! Do you find peace flooding your heart?"

Suddenly the startled mother said:

"Yes! Nathji! Yes! I find peace flooding my heart!"

And Shri Nathji said:

"WHAT MOTHER WOULD BE AT PEACE IF HER SON WAS DEAD! GO MOTHER, YOUR SON IS ALIVE!"

Khanna and the Rajmata reached the hospital only to find the Raja regain consciousness and the doctors congratulating each other, but they knew that it was a miracle as Raja Jagat was beyond all Medical Help.

AS SHRI NATHJI USED TO SAY:

"WHEN ALL EFFORTS OF MAN FAIL, IT IS THEN THAT THE DIVINE POWER STEPS IN TO GET HIM OUT OF HIS DIFFICULTY!"".
