THE GLORY OF GLORIES

 THE GLORY OF GLORIES

============================
FROM THE MEMOIRS OF HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI
THE GREAT SPIRITUAL LUMINARY WHO GAVE PEACE AND BEATITUDE TO COUNTLESS FOLK DURING HIS LIFETIME
RELIEVING THEM OF THEIR ILLS AND SORROWS AND WHO
HELPS US AND GUIDES US FROM HIS CELESTIAL PLANE EVEN TODAY.
==========================================
The DIVINE personality of HH Shri Bhola Nathji was such that people were immediately drawn towards him without a word being said.
The year was 1972. Shri Nathji and I and a devotee, Shri Sahadeva,
were with him at Naini Tal, where we were staying at the Metropole Hotel.
Those were the days when the music from the film Pakeeza was constantly being played over loudspeakers on the Mall Road alongside the lake.
"Mujhe koyi mil gayaa thhaa sare raah chalte chalte"
"I met someone walking along the way!"
Shri Nathji turned to his old devotee Sahadeva and said to him:
"Sahadevji! That is how God met you! So easily! Walking along the way in life!"
Shri Nathji's Birthday was in June but there was not a soul who knew of him there and so he, Priya Nath and Sahadeva thought they would celebrate it alone by themselves in the drawing room.
But alas! The room was occupied because it was the birthday of a wealthy businessman who was having a "qawwalli" singing session arranged for him at night.
By chance the main Qawal at the Hotel met Shri Nathji at the place and instantly tears came into his eyes and he kissed Shri Nathji's hands even as he kneeled before him.
He said: Huzoor! I am so sorry I have been engaged by these businessmen and have to sing for them! Otherwise I would have sung for you this night!"
That evening at 9 pm or so Shri Nathji, I and Sahadeva were coming out of the dining room and we had to pass through the drawing room where the crowded Qawwalli session of the wealthy businessman and his associates was going on,.
None of them knew Shri Nathji.
As Shri Nathji came out in the full majesty of his Divine Glory into the drawing room, the people there were stunned. The wine cups in their hands were left un-drunk as they continued to stare at him.
For a while the music stopped and the Main Qawal singing, stopped singing, and stood up on the stage and paid his homage to Shri Nathji by a "salaam" a bow, while standing.
And the next instant Shri Nathji was gone.
People there felt they had had a glimpse of Divine Glory.
Some days later as Shri Nathji and his companions left Naini Tal, they heard the song play along the Mall Road:
"Mujhe koyi mil gayaa thaa sare raaah chalte chalte"
"I met Someone while walking along the way!"
Little did the people of Naini Tal know who had come and gone away from amidst them!
