GIVING OF THANKS GREATER THAN PRAYER

 GIVING OF THANKS GREATER THAN PRAYER

============================
FROM THE MEMOIRS OF HH SHRI BHOLA NATHJI THE GREAT SPIRITUAL LUMINARY WHO GAVE PEACE AND BEATITUDE TO COUNTLESS FOLK, RELIEVING THEM OF THEIR ILLS AND SORROW, AND WHO STILL HELPS US AND GUIDES US FROM HIS CELESTIAL PLANE AND ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS.
===========================================
In the early 1940's HH Shri Nathji injured his right arm in a simple tennis elbow. The wound was aggravated by a wrestler who gave physiotherapy and twisted the flesh inside the elbow. This soon led to a septic wound for which an operation was required at the King George Medical College Lucknow. The operation failed and the doctors said the poison from the wound was spreading through the entire body and his arm would have to be amputated.
Shri Nathji immediately left the hospital and went to live in the mountains of Mussoorie where not a single doctor was available.
Here he suffered terrible septic fevers and a pain which no human being on earth could bear.
But during this time his Divine Light became stronger than ever before and all who came to him saw God in him. He would speak in great pain to all visitors filling them with peace,
He had this verse posted outside his room:
Shukrya shewaa hai meraa jis men main masroof hoon
Shikwaa haaye gham sunaane ki mujhe fursat naheen
The giving of thanks has absorbed me so,
That to complain of sorrows I have no time.
Yes, Gratitude to God under all circumstances is greater than prayer, it pleases the Lord and he comes to your aid.
Shri Nathji miraculously cured himself in the wilderness of the mountains after two years of unbearable pain.
The picture attached below is of that time in 1943 when he was in intense pain-- but the calm and peace on his face was marvelous to behold,
When in great trouble yourself think of the many good things in life that God has given you and thank Him. He will answer your prayers.
