Time is like a rapidly flowing river, or like a candle that is burning away its own existence . Or like a journey in a train.

You say that you exist. But where do you exist?

In the past? No. The past is gone, only memories remain.

In the future? No. The future has not come.

You will say that you exist in the present.

But where is the present? Even as you say "this moment is the present", it is gone into the past.

So in which moment of time do we exist? We cannot pin-point it. It is gone even as we think of it.

One day you were not here in this world. And the day must come when you will not be in this world any longer.

What we call "history" is the tale of millions who came into this world and went away.

So we have to KNOW that our sojourn upon earth is a temporary sojourn and that we too shall become history one day.

Time is the greatest thief. It robs you of your life. It turns you from a child, into a youth and then a middle aged person and then finally an old person.

And with that time there come all kinds of illnesses, diseases, and accidents that tell you life is temporary.

And what comes after that?

Death.

It is the ultimate end of every life.

So remember this again and again, that you have come into this world only to go away.

Live in this world and enjoy it as much as you can, but that is not the purpose of life. Every happiness turns into sorrow. Every youth gives place to old age and death.

As you lie immersed in your works remember that you have a higher purpose also in this world-- and that is to establish a relationship with the Creator of the world.

How wonderful it would be if after your life's journey is over, you go to your REAL HOME after Death, which is the HOUSE OF GOD, or the KINGDOM OF GOD.

To establish a relationship with God you have to follow His Laws which are written down on your own conscience and which tell you what is right and what is wrong. Do that which is right.

Seek Guidance from God each and every moment of your life, so that you will have the best of both worlds -- this world and the world to come..

A life spent in this manner will be a life that is worth living.
